For accelerators, angel networks, university programs and demo days. Guests read each company's page before the event and follow it after.
Around your event#
- Before
- Every company has a page with its pitch, a link to its deck, its founders and what it needs right now. Send the links with your invitation, so investors and mentors read ahead.
- During
- Each company puts its page link on its last slide, as text or as a QR code the program makes. Guests open it on their phones, and can follow the company from there.
- After
- Guests follow a company, ask the founders a question, or contact the team about something it needs. Founders post updates, and everyone who followed hears about them.
What stays the same#
Keep your application tool, your CRM, your look book and your brand, and add each company's Pitcher link to what you already send.
Pitcher does not host private material. Decks, videos and demos are links to wherever each founder keeps them, and every page is public. There is no program page or private cohort view: each company has its own page, which its founders own and edit.
What a pilot looks like#
- Five to ten companies from one cohort, each founder choosing to take part.
- We help draft each page from the material the founder already has. The founder checks every word and publishes it from their own account.
- Thirty days around your event, from the week before to the weeks after.
- Success is measured in page views, follows, questions and contact requests, reported only as totals for the cohort, with the founders' consent.
- No cost, and either side can stop at any time.
What Pitcher will not do#
No private cohort data, no investor lists, no ranking or voting.
Pitcher does not show anyone who viewed or followed a company, does not use your program's name or logo, and does not collect rosters or data from you. Pitcher is not an investing platform. It does not process investments, broker deals or give investment advice.
