The pitch
What I am building:
I am building MingList, a privacy-first local classifieds platform. It strips away the friction and data risks of traditional sites by requiring no sign-up and no email collection. Instead, it uses a per-listing anonymous email relay (built on Cloudflare Workers & Resend) so buyers and sellers can communicate securely without exposing their real inboxes to spam or scraping. What happens next: I am currently in the early MVP phase. Over the next few weeks, my focus is on acquiring the first 100 real listings and gathering user feedback to refine the core experience. I also plan to add basic moderation tools to keep the community clean. Why now & Why me: Why now? Because data leaks and spam have ruined the joy of local second-hand trading. People are tired of giving away their phone numbers just to sell a used chair. Why me? Because as a solo developer who values privacy and minimalism, I built the exact tool I wanted to use. Powered by a lightweight, serverless stack, MingList proves that you don't need heavy infrastructure to build a safe, people-first marketplace.
Problem
Today, posting a simple local classified ad requires trading your privacy. If you want to sell a used chair or find a roommate, traditional sites force you to expose your real email or phone number on a public page. This invites relentless spam, data scrapers, and privacy leaks. It's broken for everyday people who just want to transact locally without getting harassed.
Solution
I built MingList (https://minglist.top), a privacy-first local classifieds platform. It requires no accounts and no passwords. Instead of your real email, every listing gets its own disposable, anonymous relay address. When someone replies, the system strips their email and forwards it to you. You can reply directly from your inbox, keeping the conversation truly two-way and 100% anonymous. Spam and data scraping become structurally impossible.
Progress so far
Current numbers: • Users: 0 paid users (100% free platform) • Revenue: $0 • Pilots/Early Adopters: Currently onboarding the first batch of beta testers. The infrastructure is rock-solid. My immediate next step is getting the first 50 real listings and gathering feedback.
