PublicHabits is for people who have tried habit trackers, but haven’t seen lasting change.
It makes your habits visible to anyone with a link to your PublicHabits page. When someone might be looking, it’s harder to skip a day.
Problem
Habit trackers are easy to quietly abandon: when only you see a missed day, skipping has no stakes. Accountability partners and coaches add stakes, but they cost time or money most people won't spend.
Solution
PublicHabits puts your habits on a webpage that people who know you can check. They do not need to create an account or download an app to view your page. It leverages the Hawthorne effect: when someone might be looking, it's harder to skip a day.
Progress so far
PublicHabits currently has a small number of paying customers. PublicHabits is bootstrapped business, built to be profitable and not venture-scale. I am not seeking outside investment.
